Seventy-five miles down the M5 and about an hour and twenty minutes, and the gateway to almost everything we are asked to do in Devon. Exeter city centre, the university, St Davids station, Exeter Airport and the routes onward to Torbay and Cornwall.
Holiday luggage down the M5
The summer run into Devon and Cornwall is done with a full boot: cases, buggies, body boards and the dog's bed. Book the Mini Bus if you are four people with four large cases — the space is worth far more than the difference in price.
University runs
Start and end of term at Exeter means a car packed to the roof and a hall of residence at the other end. It is a route we do several times each September and June, and one large vehicle beats two small ones every time.
Exeter Airport and St Davids
Exeter Airport is a short hop east of the city off the A30, and St Davids is the main line station. Both are covered with flight or train monitoring and a fixed price agreed before travel.
Onward into Devon and Cornwall
Torquay, Paignton, Plymouth, Barnstaple, Newquay and Truro are all bookable as long-distance transfers. They are proper drives, and we price them honestly, up front, with a comfort stop planned in if you want one.
