Sightseeing Tours
A coach tour goes where the coach goes, for as long as the schedule says. A car and a local driver goes where you want, stops when you want, and waits while you take longer than you meant to at the second stop. Booked by the hour, the half-day or the full day, at a price agreed in advance.
Bristol in half a day
The Clifton Suspension Bridge and the observatory, Brunel's SS Great Britain, the harbourside and M Shed, the Georgian streets of Clifton Village, the street art in Stokes Croft and Bedminster, and the view from Cabot Tower. Four hours does it comfortably; three does it briskly.
Bath, Stonehenge and Wells
Bath is half an hour away and worth a full day on its own. Add Stonehenge and Salisbury, or go the other way to Wells, Glastonbury and Cheddar Gorge. All reachable and back within a day from Bristol, which is the advantage of being where we are.
The Cotswolds
Castle Combe, Lacock, Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow and Broadway — beautiful, and served by almost no public transport at all. A car is not a luxury here, it is the only practical way to see more than one village in a day.
Cruise and cabin passengers
If you are in port at Southampton or Portsmouth for a day, we can collect you at the terminal, run a fixed itinerary with a hard return time, and have you back well before the gangway closes. Tell us the sailing time and we plan backwards from it.
