The driver, the vehicle and the mileage
Quoted as one figure for the whole journey, in the vehicle class you choose.
A price that does not move
Traffic, a diversion or a road closure do not change your fare. There is no meter in the car and no surge multiplier at the end.
Luggage in the boot
Never charged for. Tell us how many large cases you have so we send a vehicle they actually fit in.
Meet and greet at the airport
From 30 minutes after you land, the driver is inside the terminal with a name board, and they will text and call you when they are on their way.
Flight and train monitoring
We track the flight rather than the clock, so the driver is scheduled around your actual arrival time.
Booking, changes and confirmation
Free to book, free to change more than 12 hours ahead, and confirmed by email with the driver and vehicle details.
The only things that can be added
There is no long tail of hidden fees. This is the complete list, and every item on it is set out in our terms and conditions.
Waiting time you ask for
If you ask the driver to wait — at a supermarket, at a viewpoint, between two meetings — waiting is charged at a rate agreed with you before you travel.
Extra stops added on the day
A stop you tell us about at booking is priced into the fare. A stop invented halfway through the journey has to be repriced, and the driver will tell you the figure before going anywhere.
Parking you ask us to pay
If a venue or car park charges the vehicle and you have asked us to park rather than drop off, that charge is passed on at cost.
Excessive soiling
Rare, but if a vehicle has to be taken off the road for deep cleaning, a cleaning charge applies. It is set out in our terms.
The published charges, in plain figures
- Waiting on a normal journey: the first 5 minutes are free, then £15 for each further 30 minutes.
- Airport and seaport collections: the driver waits inside from 30 minutes after you land or dock; contact them within 45 minutes, and beyond the allotted period waiting is £15 per 30 minutes.
- Child or booster seat: £15 per seat, requested at booking with the child's age.
- No food and no drink in the vehicles, bottled water excepted: a £50 charge applies for breaching it.
- Cancellations: free more than 24 hours ahead, 50% between 12 and 24 hours, non-refundable inside 12 hours. See the cancellation policy.

Value against the alternatives
For one person travelling in the middle of the day, the train frequently wins. For two or more people, for anyone with real luggage, and for anything before six in the morning or after eleven at night, a fixed-price car usually wins on both cost and sanity — and always on the number of changes.
