Event Transfers
Every event has the same problem at the end. Twenty thousand people leave a venue within fifteen minutes and every taxi within two miles is already taken. The fix is not a better app; it is a pre-booked return with an agreed pick-up point that a car can actually reach.
Book the way home first
It sounds backwards, and it is the single most useful thing we can tell you. Book the return when you book the outbound and it is held for you at a fixed price. We will agree a specific street or landmark a few minutes' walk from the venue, which is far quicker than a car trying to reach the main gate.
Bristol venues we know well
Ashton Gate, the Memorial Stadium, the Bristol Beacon, the Hippodrome, the O2 Academy, Ashton Court for the Balloon Fiesta, Lloyds Amphitheatre and the Harbourside. Each has its own traffic pattern on an event night and its own sensible pick-up spot.
Away from Bristol
Cardiff's Principality Stadium, Cheltenham Racecourse, Twickenham, Glastonbury, the NEC and any London arena. Long-distance event runs are fixed price too, and the driver waits or returns at the agreed time.
Groups, and getting everyone there together
Fifteen people in one vehicle arrive at the same moment and go home at the same moment. It is cheaper than separate cars and it removes the two friends who inevitably end up at a different entrance.
