Four vehicles, one for every journey

Most bookings go wrong in the same place: the vehicle turns up and the luggage does not fit. So here is exactly what each of our four classes holds, and which one to pick for the journey you are making.

How to choose in ten seconds

Count the passengers, then count the large suitcases. If both numbers are two or under, a Standard Saloon is right. Four people travelling light also fit a saloon — four people with four big cases do not, and need a Mini Bus. If it is a client pick-up, a board meeting or a wedding, choose the Executive Car. Over eight people, it is the 15 Seater.

What every vehicle has

Air conditioning, seat belts on every seat, phone charging, a clean interior valeted between jobs, and a current private hire licence plate on the back. Smoking and vaping are not permitted in any of them.

Awkward and oversized luggage

Skis, snowboards, golf clubs, bicycles, cellos, pushchairs, cabin trunks and the occasional flat-pack wardrobe — we have carried all of it, but only because somebody mentioned it at the booking stage. Tell us the awkward item and we will send a vehicle with the space for it.

Child seats and accessibility

Rear-facing seats, forward-facing seats and boosters are available at £15 per seat when you request them at booking, and the driver will fit the seat for you — give us the child's age and the seat type in the notes. Availability is limited and priority goes to journeys over 20 miles. Folding wheelchairs and walking frames travel in the boot, and drivers will assist to and from the door. Please flag any of this on the booking so the right vehicle is dispatched.
